When a woman has had tubal reversal surgery she is in a hurry to begin trying to conceive. Along with tracking her cycle there are other things that she wants to do to have her body redy to carry a baby. Many woman will ask about taking supplements.

When a couple chooses to have tubal reversal surgery in order to have the chance to have children again they are in a hurry to begin the process. One of the biggest things for most women following the surgery is to begin following their cycles. Knowing that their most fertile time is around the time of ovulation they make sure they are tracking their cycles.

One of the biggest questions is if they should be taking any type of supplements. They understand that their body needs to be ready to not only conceive but to carry a baby for nine months. So, what should she be taking and what is safe to take knowing that she certainly has the chance to become pregnant?

The first thing many doctors will recommend is a prenatal vitamin. Folic acid is very important when a woman becomes pregnant. But what about any other supplements? This is something that needs to be discussed with the woman’s physician. Although most may be safe to take while pregnant it is important to know which ones are safe and which ones to stay away from.

When planning to become pregnant it is important that the couple meets with the physician who the patient will be seeing while pregnant. After tubal reversal surgery there is a slightly higher risk for ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is when the egg implants into one of the fallopian tubes rather than inside the uterus where it should be. This type of pregnancy can be life threatening and should be ruled out as soon as possible. This is the reason why Early Pregnancy Protocol is put into place and should be followed by a patient that has had a previous tubal reversal.

Before the patient has a positive pregnancy test all of this should be discussed with the physician. As long as the patient and physician are on the same page all will go well in the communication department. If a woman has a question about adding supplements before trying to conceive then the supplement should be researched and the doctor’s opinion should be sought. If the doctor says is it good then everything is in order. Be sure to have the list of ingredients on hand if you will phone the doctor’s office rather than visiting. If the doctor does not know the ingredients then it will be impossible for him/her to make an educated decision.

Because something is considered natural it does not always mean it is safe or advisable to take while pregnant or trying to conceive. In fact because something is natural could mean that it is not safe at all to take while pregnant. It is always better to be safe in this chapter of the tubal reversal journey. Supplements following tubal reversal surgery should be avoided until the physician has had the chance to research them thoroughly.

Couples decide to have tubal surgery for a variety of reasons. One of the main reasons is due to a previous tubal ligation or better known as having ones tubes tied. Women that have had their tubes tied previously may have had a change in life circumstances and now regret the decision. They want another chance at having children naturally.

Once the decision is made to have tubal reversal surgery the couple then chooses the best surgeon to perform the surgery. The leading tubal reversal center located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina uses certain guidelines for the safety of their patients. There are also guidelines that that are given for once the patient becomes pregnant to rule out any chance of ectopic pregnancy.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has a long history of providing quality care. Patient testimonials are posted so that the public is able to see how others feel about the center. The message board is extremely active with women from all over the world who have either had their reversals or are about to.

One of the most disheartening issues in the tubal reversal journey is to have a physician who is not familiar with the tubal reversal procedure. In pregnancy it is very important that your local physician understand the Early Pregnancy Protocol. Blood work needs to be done for the safety of the woman. This blood work is to rule out any chance of problems that may develop while the pregnancy is still “new”.

When a woman speaks to her local physician and is met with resistance it is frustrating. Often this is a physician that the woman has come to trust and doesn’t understand why the doctor is so against tubal reversal surgery. The matter may be simpler than we think.

Many physicians are educated on IVF or in vitro fertilization. While in medical school and internship they may study IVF and the newest techniques. Can we guess what many medical students never get to study or witness? They do not get to touch on tubal reversal techniques or the pregnancy success rates.

The Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 published by Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has opened many eyes and changed many opinions in and out of the medical world. Tubal ligation reversal techniques used to restore fertility actually has a better pregnancy success rate over the alternative treatment of IVF.

For those couples who are facing resistance concerning tubal reversal and the success rates from local physicians try not to become discouraged. It does happen to couples from every corner of the world. Be advised there are physicians who have taken the time to educate themselves on the success of tubal ligation reversal. If your physician is not willing to work with you through this journey then maybe it is time to change. Your health and the health of your child/children depend on a doctor that cares and has compassion.

Having blocked or damaged fallopian tubes repaired after having a tubal ligation can be done. Many couples are more comfortable with this procedure than having to have IVF. Chances of pregnancy after a tubal reversal are usually 60-70% for most women.

There are different reasons for the fallopian tubes to become blocked. Things such as previous infections can cause unintentional blockage. Intentional is when the woman purposely has her fallopian tubes blocked as in having her tubes tied. This is done so that the egg and sperm cannot unite thus pregnancy cannot occur.

There are several different ways of blocking the fallopian tubes so that pregnancy cannot occur. These are the most common:

Essure and Adiana

Tubal Coagulation- where the tubes are burned.

Tubal Rings and Clips

Pomeroy and Parkland- where cutting and tying the tubes are involved.

All of the above methods are sterilization are used to prevent pregnancy. The issue is that some women that have blocked tubes are now regretting their decision. And many are told that because their fallopian tubes have been damaged they will not be able to get pregnant without the help of IVF.

Many couples are not comfortable with the idea of having to use IVF for pregnancy. Most will shy away from the idea and look for another alternative. And there is another way that actually has a better pregnancy success rate. It is tubal ligation reversal surgery.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is the leading tubal ligation reversal center in the world. Couples travel from every corner of the globe to have the tubal ligation reversed in order to have more children. The pregnancy success rate is higher and couples are thrilled at the fact that they found the alternative treatment. Another thing couples find out is that they are actually paying much less money to have the procedure reversed.

Having blocked tubes repaired after a tubal ligation is very possible. Couples are able to have a child and if they wish they are able to have multiple children without added medical intervention.

When a couple begins searching for the right tubal reversal what do they look for?

When a couple wants to choose the best tubal reversal surgeon what should they look for? This is a question that many will ask because they want the best chance to become pregnant. Couples know that picking the best surgeon is very important for the future of their family.

Choosing the right surgeon can be confusing if you do not know what to look for. And many couples also have to watch how much they can spend on getting the reversal. In this economy many cannot afford large expenses and will have to save for the surgery because most insurance companies will not cover the cost.

Trying to find the right expert tubal reversal surgeon in your area can be tough. For some they will find a surgeon who states he/she performs tubal reversal surgery and then the couple gets to the office and realizes they are being swayed towards IVF. This is something that is regularly done but many couples do not know that. They often leave the surgeons office feeling tricked or deceived.

Getting the right expert tubal reversal surgeon will depend on a few factors. The first being the experience of the surgeon. How long has the surgeon been performing tubal reversals? What type of training has the surgeon had? What is the staff like and is every member of the staff licensed? What will the final cost of the surgery be?

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is known as the leading tubal reversal center in the world. This is because Dr. Gary Berger has been performing reversals for over thirty years. He is known as the leader in the field. Dr. Monteith is the surgeon who also performs surgery at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. The only type of surgery that is performed by these two surgeons is reversal surgery.

The cost at this time to have tubal reversal surgery performed by either Dr. Berger or Dr. Monteith is about $6000.00. This is much less expensive then most because Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith use advanced surgical techniques that do not require a hospital stay. The surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure. The advanced surgical techniques allows for quicker healing time and has a 98% fallopian tubes repair rate.

For more information on choosing the right expert tubal reversal surgeon to fit your needs visit the Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center website. The tubal reversal nurses can also be contacted by calling 1-919-968-4656.

This is a question asked by so many couples who want the chance to have a child after a tubal ligation. The fact is that tubal reversal can be a better option for most females. Many times they have not heard about tubal ligation reversal because there are physicians that are not familiar with the procedure. Often, when a couple approaches a physician they are immediately told to seek out a IVF center. Truth of the matter is they may have a better chance at pregnancy if they were to follow the tubal reversal path.

For those interested in the success rate following tubal reversal the Tubal Reversal Pregnancy Report 2009 can be a great source of information for both couples and their physicians.

Many couples will ask which is the best way to get pregnant after a tubal ligation. The answer surprises many.

Questioning whether IVF is the answer to having a child after tubal ligation is common among couples. It usually begins with a trip to the woman’s physician. She begins to ask questions about the best way to go about having a child after she has had her tubes tied. Most times the answer given is IVF. This is “food for thought” for the couple and they begin researching the possibilities.

What happens in many of the searches performed is the couple will stumble upon “tubal reversal”. Most have never heard of this and why didn’t the physician say anything? Upon further reading at the website they actually find that tubal reversal is a great option and the pregnancy success rates after surgery are really good. Another path is beginning to be explored.

Both IVF and tubal reversal are options for those who want a child after having their tubes tied or a tubal ligation. They both have helped couples all over the world to have their dreams come true.

There are some cases where IVF is the better option for couples. If the woman’s fallopian tubes are extremely damaged the tubal reversal surgeon may not be able to repair them. There is also the age issue. As women get older the quantity and quality of eggs diminish. This may it harder to conceive naturally and may be linked to more miscarriages. There are tests that can be run to make sure you have enough good quality eggs such as the FSH Day 3. IVF can be used for those who do not have good eggs where donor eggs are advisable.

Unless you have one of the issues already mentioned then tubal ligation reversal could be an excellent choice to have a successful pregnancy after a tubal ligation. This is not told to many women because many physicians are just not familiar with the procedure. Many physicians have just never been trained or happen to be able to see a tubal reversal procedure being performed.

The odds of pregnancy following a tubal reversal procedure can be as high as 80% at Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center. This leading center performs just tubal ligation reversals and does not perform IVF. Tubal reversal is their specialty and is performed as a one-hour outpatient surgery. The cost of tubal ligation reversal at the time of this article is $5900.00. This is far less than many physicians that have to perform their surgeries in a hospital are able to charge.

Or call 1-919-968-4656 to speak to a tubal reversal nurse who can answer your questions right away.

July is Post Tubal Ligation Awareness Month. This is a time when women should not silently suffer alone because they have been told this syndrome does not exist.

For anyone who suffers with Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome the symptoms list seems like it just goes on and on. Just when you have yourself convinced that you have every symptoms wreaking havoc another one seems to kick in. Could all of these symptoms be related to PTLS? The answer is yes and the list of symptoms is not always the same for every woman.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center has many women go to them for tubal reversal surgery to help get rid of Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome. Most times these women have been to physician after physicians trying to get a straight answer to what is causing all of this. After frustration and desperation some are lucky enough to hit the CHTRC message board.

On this message board there are women who are not always sure what they are suffering from is actually a result of their tubal ligation. One recent member asks if stomach issues are also a symptom associated with PTLS? Answer from others who have dealt with this is a big yes.

Truth of the matter is that many women traveling to Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center are doing so because they cannot deal with Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome anymore. In short, they want their lives and bodies back.

Once the reversal surgery is done they then return home to let their bodies heal and hoping they will find relief. What takes place is these women actually begin noticing improvement. And they are on the message board letting everyone know. Not only are they on the board they are getting the word out everywhere and to whomever will listen. Women are suffering from Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome and there is relief to be found.
